Vehicle rental · Pakistan
Carbid lists cars, vans and commercial vehicles from rental businesses our team has verified, anywhere in Pakistan. Rates are published, the dates are yours to pick, and the booking is recorded rather than agreed on a phone call.
The price is worked out from the partner's published rates as you choose them.
Both rates are published on the listing, so you compare rather than guess.
You pay the upfront the way the partner asks and quote the reference.
You get the rental company's details once the booking is confirmed.
Renting a vehicle in Pakistan usually starts with a phone number and ends with a price nobody wrote down. You call, you are quoted a figure that depends on how you sound, and the terms about fuel, distance and lateness are settled verbally and remembered differently by each side afterwards.
Carbid does the ordinary thing instead. Every vehicle carries the partner's own published rates, daily, weekly and monthly, and separately for with a driver and without. You pick your dates and the platform works out the price, so the figure you are shown and the figure stored against your booking are the same number. Nothing depends on how the call went.
The rental businesses are checked by our team before their vehicles appear, and a vehicle cannot be listed with no photo or no price. That rule lives in the database rather than in the form, which means it holds even for a partner working around the screen.
The catalogue follows the same vehicle taxonomy as the rest of Carbid, so it is not restricted to sedans and hatchbacks. Partners list vans, pickups, buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles, and each carries the fields that make sense for what it is rather than a car's fields with blanks in them.
That matters more than it sounds. A business hiring a truck for a month cares about a different set of numbers to a family hiring a Corolla for a weekend, and a listing that asks a truck for its odometer and not its tonnage is not describing a truck.
You find a vehicle, pick your dates, and choose whether you want a driver. Carbid prices it from the partner's published rates, rounding part days up and using the weekly or monthly rate automatically where that is better for you. You agree the rental terms, and the booking is placed with an upfront to confirm it.
The vehicle is then held so nobody else can book the same dates, which is enforced by the database rather than by hoping two people do not click at once. You pay the upfront the way the partner asks and quote the reference. Staff check it, confirm the booking, and at that point you get the rental company's contact details and they arrange the handover.
⚠️ No money moves through Carbid itself. Confirmed means a person checked that the payment arrived, exactly as bidding approval works on the auction side. If a booking is declined, anything you paid comes back in full.
Availability changes daily. These are the names people ask for most, not a promise that one is free this week.
Yes. A rental is a vehicle handed to a person for days at a time, and both sides need to know who the other is if something goes wrong. Signing up takes a minute and the same account also lets you bid at auction or list a vehicle of your own.
Because publishing it would mean every booking became a phone call that never touched the platform, and then the price, the dates and the terms would exist nowhere if there were a disagreement. You get their contact details the moment your booking is confirmed, which is the point at which you actually need them.
By the platform, from the partner's own published rates. Part days round up, and the weekly or monthly rate is used automatically wherever it works out cheaper than counting days. The figure is stored on your booking when you place it, so it cannot drift between the quote and the invoice.
It confirms the booking and counts towards the rental rather than being an extra charge. Until it is confirmed the vehicle is only held, not booked. If the hold lapses or the booking is declined, you owe nothing and anything already paid is returned in full.
No, and that is enforced in the database rather than in the booking form. Overlapping dates on one vehicle are refused outright, so two bookings placed in the same instant cannot both succeed.
Create an account, register the business, and our team verifies it before anything goes public. After that you manage your own fleet: add vehicles, set daily, weekly and monthly rates with and without a driver, block out dates, and work your bookings from a board. There is a guide at How renting works that covers both sides.
If you run a rental business, list your fleet on Carbid. You set your own rates, block out the dates you need, and work your bookings from one board.
