Broken down on Canal Road?

Canal Road is the fastest way across Lahore and it behaves like a different kind of road to everything around it. Traffic moves, the underpasses keep it moving, and the shoulder is narrow or planted for long stretches. A car that stops here is stopping in a place that was not designed for stopped cars.

That changes what we ask you first. Not what the car is doing, but whether you are off the carriageway and standing away from it.
